At a young age, I established a personal connection with photography since my father had a Pentax 35mm film camera constantly by his side and an artist mother that trained me to have a keen eye.
I prefer to photograph with film, as it forces me to slow down and really think about what I am about to capture and how I want to go about doing so. I have also 100% given up on extensive journaling, so photography is my way to remember.
For years, I hesitated to turn my passion into a profession as I feared that would suck all the joy out of it. Because of all of the wonderful people I have worked with, that thankfully hasn’t happened yet and I have a hunch it never will.
